PUNCTUALITY

Punctuality is the crown of kings and queens, the virtue of ladies and gentlemen, and the lifeline of professionals. Every student is expected to arrive at school at least 5 minutes before the Assembly Bell. Latecomers will receive three warning notices; beyond this, they may be sent home at the parent’s responsibility.

The Attendance Roll will be taken at the beginning of each session. Students not present in class will be marked absent. Irregular attendance, unexplained absence beyond a week, habitual idleness, disobedience, or poor conduct may lead to dismissal. Students are accountable to the school authorities for their behavior both inside and outside the campus. Catholic students are also expected to fulfill their religious duties sincerely.

  • At the first bell, all students pause wherever they are, compose themselves, and prepare for prayer.
  • At the second bell, they move silently to the Assembly area and stand class-wise.
  • The Assembly is led by students, or by the Principal on special occasions.
  • After the morning prayer, the National Anthem is sung.
  • Each day, a student addresses the school with a short talk or reads the news.
  • Important announcements are shared by the Principal.

After Assembly, students proceed to their classes. No student arriving more than 5 minutes late will be admitted without the Principal’s signature.

No student may leave the school grounds during recess or otherwise without the Principal’s written permission.

At the end of the day, a prayer is recited before students leave the school peacefully.

ORDER

“A place for everything, and everything in its place.”

The school building is a space for learning. Running, shouting, or playing indoors is strictly prohibited.

  • Always keep to the left while walking.
  • Move quietly and respect ongoing classes.
  • Loud talking during change of periods is not allowed.

  • During the teacher’s absence, the Class Prefect is responsible for maintaining discipline.
  • Silence must be observed near the Principal’s office.
  • Students may approach the Principal’s office only for urgent reasons during class hours.
  • Classrooms must be vacated during recess.

  • Use the water fountain only during recess.
  • Leaving the school premises during class hours without permission will be treated as a serious offense.

Allowed only with permission, and only in urgent cases.

All students must leave classrooms promptly to allow helpers to clean.

  • Newspapers, magazines, or periodicals may not be brought without the Principal’s approval. Unauthorized items may be confiscated.
  • No collections or gifts for teachers are permitted without prior permission.

  • The school is not responsible for lost books, money, or clothing. Students must safeguard their belongings.
  • Jewellery of any kind—precious or artificial—is not allowed.
  • Carry books in a secure bag or case that can be locked.

Entry into the Staff Room is strictly forbidden.

COURTESY

Students are expected to greet their teachers, elders, and friends warmly and clearly whenever they meet them—whether inside the school or outside.

  • Maintain a confident and upright posture while sitting, standing, or walking.
  • Speak politely and respectfully to one another.
  • Avoid slang or careless expressions; let your words reflect dignity and kindness.

CLEANLINESS

“Cleanliness is next to Godliness.”

Every student must take pride in keeping the school premises neat and tidy. It is the responsibility of all to ensure that classrooms, corridors, and playgrounds remain spotless.

  • Never throw paper, fruit peels, or litter out of windows or onto the school grounds.
  • Always use the waste baskets and bins provided.
  • A clean environment creates a healthy and happy space for learning.

Let us remember: a clean school is a beautiful school, and every child plays a part in making it so.

CARE OF THE SCHOOL PROPERTY

Students are expected to treat school property with the same care and respect as they would their own belongings. Furniture, equipment, and other resources must be used responsibly.

Any damage caused to school property must be repaired or compensated. In cases where damage is found to be deliberate, the cost of repair or replacement will be recovered from the concerned student. Such recovery will be added to the following month’s fee or collected immediately, as deemed necessary by the school administration.

BEHAVIOUR OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL

“Behaviour is the mirror that reflects one’s true self.”

Students are accountable to the School Authorities for their conduct both within the campus and beyond. They are expected to uphold the dignity of a responsible human being at all times.

Any act of misbehavior will be treated with utmost seriousness and may lead to dismissal. Students must refrain from patronizing roadside vendors or consuming food on the streets, as such practices are strictly prohibited and considered unbecoming of disciplined learners.
